Bandhoo is a construction technology company building technology-led solutions to improve quality, transparency, and productivity across the construction industry.

We are looking for a Construction Quality Expert with strong hands-on experience in construction QA/QC, quality inspections, snagging, defect identification, and site quality audits.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked extensively on construction sites as a QA/QC Engineer, Quality Engineer, QC Engineer, Quality Inspector, or QA/QC Manager and can independently inspect construction work, identify defects, understand their root causes, and determine whether work meets the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on Quality role, not a Project Management role. Candidates whose experience is primarily in project execution, project planning, project management, cost management, or client coordination without strong hands-on QA/QC experience will not be suitable.

Key Responsibilities1. Construction Quality Inspection

- Conduct detailed site quality inspections and construction quality audits.
- Inspect work across different stages of construction, including:
- RCC & Structural Works
- Masonry / Blockwork
- Plastering
- Waterproofing
- Flooring & Tiling
- Painting & Finishing
- Doors & Windows
- False Ceiling
- Plumbing
- Electrical & MEP works
- Identify defects, workmanship issues, deviations, incomplete works, and quality deficiencies.
- Verify construction work against approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, ITPs, method statements, and applicable quality standards.
- Determine the severity and impact of identified defects.

1. Snagging & Defect Assessment

- Conduct snagging, pre-handover and quality inspections.
- Prepare detailed snag/punch lists with:
- Defect description
- Location
- Photographs
- Severity
- Recommended corrective action
- Conduct re-inspections after rectification and verify closure of defects.




- Identify recurring quality issues and their possible root causes.

1. QA/QC Documentation

- Review and work with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, IRs, inspection checklists, and quality reports.
- Maintain quality inspection records and documentation.
- Evaluate contractor workmanship and adherence to approved quality standards.
- Support development of quality checklists, defect categories and quality benchmarks.

1. Construction Quality & CONSTRA

Bandhoo is building CONSTRA, an AI-powered construction quality management platform.

The Quality Expert will

- Use practical construction knowledge to help define real-world construction defects and quality issues.
- Review and validate defects identified through site photographs/videos.
- Help create standardized defect taxonomies, inspection checklists and quality benchmarks.
- Provide expert feedback to the product and engineering teams to improve CONSTRA's quality assessment capabilities.
- Participate in pilot projects and testing of digital inspection workflows.

No prior AI or technology experience is required. Strong construction quality expertise is what matters.

1. Site & Client Assessments

- Conduct quality assessments at construction and real estate projects.
- Visit project sites across Bangalore and other locations when required.
- Interact with site engineers, contractors and client representatives to explain quality observations.
- Provide clear and practical recommendations for defect rectification.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should have:
- 5–8 years of hands-on construction QA/QC experience.
- Strong experience in construction quality inspection and defect identification.
- Experience with snagging, pre-handover inspection, quality audits,



and defect closure.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and finishing quality.
- Practical understanding of ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, IRs and material testing.
- Ability to identify defects by physically inspecting construction work.
- Good understanding of IS Codes and construction quality standards.
- Experience evaluating contractor workmanship and quality compliance.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

- Snagging / Property Inspection Professional
- QA/QC Manager with strong hands-on site inspection experience

Experience with real estate developers, builders, PMC companies, construction companies, property inspection firms, or quality consultancies will be an advantage. Not Suitable For This Role
