Role Description The Computer Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at RPS Public School in Rewari. The technician will provide day-to-day technical support for computers and related equipment used by staff and students, ensuring systems and devices are functioning reliably.

Responsibilities include routine computer maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing computer repairs as needed. The role involves installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and basic software,



as well as maintaining computer labs, classroom systems, and inventories of IT assets. The technician will also collaborate with school administration and teaching staff to support technology-enabled learning and ensure a safe and efficient IT environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to respond to and resolve user issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer Maintenance and Computer Repair to keep systems operational and handle hardware problems.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Operating Systems (such as Windows and basic networking concepts) to install, configure, and update systems.
- Relevant diploma, certification, or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
