A computer service technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices to keep IT systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Hardware Repair: Assemble, disassemble, and replace faulty parts like hard drives, RAM, and power supplies for desktops and laptops.

- Software Installation: Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and daily applications.

- Troubleshooting: Respond to help desk tickets, fix network connectivity issues, and remove viruses or malware.

- User Support: Assist users with technical problems and explain solutions in explicit, simple language.

- Maintenance & Backup: Perform routine system checkups, clean physical equipment, and execute data backups or recovery.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of PC architecture, operating systems, and basic LAN/WAN networking.

- Diagnostic Tools: Ability to use hardware and software testing tools to find root causes quickly.

- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to guide non-technical users through problems.

- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or a degree in Information Technology, often paired with credentials like CompTIA A+.

Pay: ₹8,271.88 - ₹27,820.36 per month
