Community Program Leader
COMMUNITY PROGRAM LEADER
As a member of a robust and enthusiastic Community Services team you will play an integral role in the program development and facilitation either collaboratively or independently for a wide variety of audiences from children to families and for the entire community.
Additional duties include the program planning and delivery where you get to witness the results of your outstanding development skills for programs such as Day Camp, Youth/Teen nights, Art in the Park, Groovy Kids Club and a plethora of other events and activities. As a member of the team, you will be working events such as Canada Day, Halloween, Christmas events, Frostival, Easter, etc.
Another key aspect of this role is the development of relationships and partnerships with volunteers, our community partners, community organizations, Town staff and local business.
Experience in working with and programming for all ages, event planning and implementation and working with and supporting volunteers.
Educational requirements include completion of Orientation to Child Care Level 1 or ability to obtain. Post secondary education in Recreation, Arts and Culture Studies or related field preferred.
Child Care
Level 2 is preferred.
Food Safe and First Aid certification is required and is available upon hire.
