About the roleWe are looking for a Community Manager who is passionate about education and community building.
You will lead the day-to-day management of the KCITE educator community. Your role will be to understand what members need, create opportunities for meaningful participation, and build a consistent calendar of conversations, webinars, and learning resources.
This role requires someone who is comfortable speaking with people, taking ownership, and turning ideas into well-executed community initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the KCITE educator community across WhatsApp and other relevant platforms
- Welcome new members and help them understand the purpose of the community
- Plan and coordinate weekly free webinars for educators
- Identify webinar topics based on members’ interests and classroom needs
- Coordinate with teachers, school leaders, and subject experts
- Start relevant conversations and encourage members to participate
- Find, create, and share practical teaching resources
- Follow up after webinars and continue the discussion within the community
- Encourage educators to share classroom experiences, insights, and success stories
- Gather member feedback and use it to improve future programmes
- Maintain a calendar of community activities and learning sessions
- Track engagement, webinar attendance, feedback, and community growth
- Ensure all conversations remain respectful, inclusive, and relevant
Skills required
- Strong written and spoken communication
- Community engagement and relationship-building skills
- Ability to plan and coordinate webinars or online events
- Good content writing and resource-curation skills
- Strong organisation, time management, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Comfort with WhatsApp, Zoom or Google Meet, Google Forms, and spreadsheets
- Good working knowledge of English
Knowledge of Hindi or another Indian language would be an advantage. Who we’re looking forWe are looking for someone who:
