The role involves ensuring data availability, security, compliance, and disaster recovery across on premises, cloud, and SaaS environments.
- Design, configure, and manage Commvault backup policies for servers, VMs, databases, and cloud workloads
- Perform backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and failure remediation
- Execute restore operations including file-level, VM-level, database, and application-level recoveries
- Manage backup schedules, retention policies, and storage optimization
