The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality momos, ensuring consistent taste, authentic shapes, and maintaining strict hygiene standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

- Momo Preparation: Prepare authentic momo dough, specialized veg/non-veg fillings, and master the art of folding, shaping, and closing momos efficiently.

- Cooking Operations: Efficiently manage steaming, pan-frying, and deep-frying processes according to orders.

- Sauce & Accompaniments: Prepare signature momo chutneys, spicy sauces, and clear soups consistently following standard recipes.

- Mis-en-Place: Complete all daily prep work (chopping vegetables, processing meats, rolling dough sheets) before peak operational hours.

- Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintain excellent personal hygiene and ensure the momo live-counter or kitchen section is kept spotless, sanitized, and organized at all times.

- Inventory Control:



Monitor raw material stock levels (flour, chicken, veggies) and inform the supervisor or Commi 1/Senior Chef about shortages to prevent stock-outs.

- Wastage Management: Follow portion control guidelines closely to minimize food wastage.

Skills and Qualifications

- Technical Skills: Proven experience in rolling uniform wrappers and creating neat pleats/shapes quickly.

- Cuisine Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard Indo-Chinese and Tibetan food handling procedures.

- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to handle high-volume rush hours efficiently, especially during evenings and weekends.

- Language: Ability to understand basic instructions in Hindi, Bengali, or English.

- Team Player: Strong cooperative skills to work smoothly with counter staff and senior chefs.
