About The Job:

- The OT Configuration Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the dormakaba Operational Technology configuration management (config. mgmt.).

- The goal is to bring OT config items into service management whilst managing the CMDB.

Essential Job Functions:

- The OT Configuration Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the dormakaba Operational Technology configuration management (config. mgmt.).

- The goal is to bring OT config items into service management whilst managing the CMDB.

- Key Tasks & specific challenges Know, align, and optimize the OT config. mgmt. process, based on the IT/OT operating model and in close alignment with the IT Config.

- Manager, the IT/OT Security team, the OT Site Owners and the CI and Asset Class Owners. Update the process documentation.Reports, dashboards, performance analytics.

- Perform the day-to-day operational and managerial tasks required by the process activities.

- Accountable for approval, coordination, and go/no-go decisions during the lifecycle of all changes. Own the OT CMDB, including discovery of new items. D
- ocument the end-2-end service architecture, ensure high data quality, onboard new OT locations into the CMDB and control item security and access. Reactive and pro-active problem management.

- Coordinate with process managers of providers.

- Close alignment with the IT Configuration Manager.



Knows the details around IT Config.

- Mgmt. processes to the extent that is needed to act as a deputy for the IT Configuration Manager.

- Support the Service Owner in the realization of the IT strategy with regards to the OT configuration and asset management processes and the utilization of OT assets and CIs in the process landscape.

- Ensure the processes match with the IT strategy, operating model and other ITSM and business processes.

- Interact with Service Owners and Technical and Operational Experts of the IT Services which deliver data into the OT CMDB to increase the data quality of configuration items.

- Achieve sufficient data quality to utilize the configuration data in the operational processes. Ensure data delivered from other platforms integrates seamlessly into the existing data. Ensure the OT asset and config.

- mgmt. processes are well understood by the whole organization. Perform process trainings.

- Answer questions on the OT asset and configuration management processes, their implementation in the ITSM platform and their integration into the ITSM processes.

- Ensure all reports and dashboards are available and tailored for the respective target group, which are needed for monitoring and managing of SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications

- Profound ITIL knowledge, comparable to an ITIL4 Expert certification.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or business administration or comparable knowledge and experience.

- 3+ years of experience in OT Asset + Configuration Management in international IT organizations.

- Experience in working with providers.





- Good knowledge and experience in purpose, functionality, and management of ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow. Knowledge of agile project management standards like SCRUM, and project management frameworks – ideally Prince2®. Educational requirements

- Strong communication skills

- Very good written and spoken English.

- Intercultural competency Structured working mode and analytical skill
