About The Job:

- We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architecture & Governance Lead responsible for driving end-to-end cloud transformation, architecture governance, DevSecOps adoption, FinOps optimization, and platform security. The role will act as a strategic bridge between architecture, operations, security, and business teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

- Perform comprehensive application architecture assessments, including current-state analysis and cloud readiness evaluations.

- Define target cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, aligned with enterprise standards for IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless deployments.

- Lead solution design reviews focusing on scalability, performance, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and security.

- Recommend optimal hosting models and cloud migration strategies, including Rehost, Re-platform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, and Retain approaches.

- Prepare detailed cloud cost estimations, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, and business case recommendations.

- Establish architecture governance frameworks aligned with enterprise readiness and cloud assessment models.

- Provide governance, strategic direction, and technical oversight to Cloud Operations teams.

- Lead enterprise-wide DevSecOps onboarding initiatives for applications and engineering teams.

- Drive end-to-end DevSecOps onboarding, including implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

- Define and standardize onboarding prerequisites, including Git repositories, build pipelines, infrastructure components, deployment workflows, and workplace configurations.





- Ensure adoption of security-first development practices through automated security checks, compliance validation, and pipeline integration.

- Monitor and report DevSecOps KPIs, including onboarding progress, deployment success rates, vulnerability remediation, and compliance metrics.

- Drive FinOps governance initiatives to optimize cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

- Implement cloud cost management practices, including resource tagging, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking.

- Optimize cloud consumption through Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, right-sizing, and workload optimization strategies.

- Conduct periodic zero-based cost reviews and facilitate cloud cost optimization workshops with engineering and business teams.

- Identify infrastructure inefficiencies and implement cost-saving mechanisms, including resource parking, scheduling, and workload optimization.

- Promote a proactive cost optimization culture by integrating FinOps principles into solution architecture and application delivery lifecycles.

- Manage and govern enterprise domain management, DNS routing policies, traffic management, and failover configurations.

- Ensure secure external exposure of applications by implementing enterprise security standards, network controls, and access governance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, security, and operations to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

- Develop architecture documentation, standards, best practices, and governance artifacts to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

- Experience: 10+ Years

Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Experience in cloud architecture patterns (Microservices, Serverless).





- Experience with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with networking, IAM, and security controls.

Functional Skills

- Strong background in architecture governance.

- Experience in FinOps and cloud cost management and governance.

- Experience leading Enterprise DevSecOps transformation.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving adoption programs.

Soft Skills

- Excellent stakeholder management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to translate technical solutions into business impact.
