Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer to join our growing technology and infrastructure team. In this role, you will assist in designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services.

You will collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, network engineers, security teams, and other stakeholders to support scalable and reliable cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security, and modern infrastructure technologies while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure
- Working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Configuring and maintaining cloud-based services and resources
- Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and resource usage
- Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application deployment issues
- Supporting virtual machines, storage, databases, networking, and cloud services
- Assisting with cloud security, access controls, and identity management




- Supporting backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
- Automating repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks
- Working with Infrastructure as Code tools and configuration management systems
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and application deployment workflows
- Managing and documenting cloud configurations and infrastructure changes
- Analyzing cloud resource utilization and identifying optimization opportunities
- Assisting with cloud cost monitoring and resource optimization
- Collaborating with development teams to improve application deployment and reliability
- Following cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices
- Staying updated with emerging cloud technologies and industry practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in cloud computing, DevOps, infrastructure, or a relevant internship/project
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another major cloud platform
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and VPNs
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows server environments
- Basic understanding of virtualization, storage, and databases
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization is a plus
- Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools is beneficial
- Basic understanding of cloud security and identity/access management
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools is a plus
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals are beneficial
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
