Clinical Head / Branch Manager

Orange Child Development Centre (Orange CDC)

Position Overview

Orange Child Development Centre is looking for an experienced and highly responsible Clinical Head / Branch Manager to lead the clinical and operational functioning of the centre.

The role combines clinical leadership, team supervision, quality assurance, parent coordination, staff management, and branch administration.

Preferred Qualification: RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist / Applied Psychologist

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Leadership & Quality

- Oversee the overall clinical functioning of the branch.
- Ensure children receive appropriate assessments, individualized intervention plans, and periodic reviews.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, Psychology, Special Education, Early Intervention, and other developmental services.
- Conduct/review psychological assessments and interventions within the professional's qualification, registration, and scope of practice.
- Ensure clinical documentation, case files, progress notes, goals, reports, and review records are properly maintained.
- Promote evidence-based and ethical clinical practices across the centre.
- Identify complex or high-risk cases and coordinate appropriate referral to developmental paediatricians, psychiatrists, neurologists, or other specialists where required.

2. Multidisciplinary Team Management

- Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Conduct regular case discussions and clinical review meetings.
- Guide therapists in setting measurable short-term and long-term goals.
- Monitor therapist performance, documentation quality, parent communication, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Identify training requirements and arrange internal clinical training and mentoring.
- Support management in recruitment, interviews, onboarding, probation reviews, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.

3. Parent & Child Experience

- Ensure every family receives professional, ethical, and empathetic service.
- Meet parents when clinical clarification or escalation is required.




- Ensure parents receive regular feedback regarding the child's progress.
- Guide the team in providing appropriate home programs and parent education.
- Handle clinical complaints and concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor continuity of care and reduce unnecessary therapy discontinuation.

4. Branch Management

- Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch.
- Coordinate therapists, reception, administration, and support staff.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave, discipline, and duty allocation.
- Ensure appointment scheduling and therapist utilization are properly managed.
- Monitor assessment bookings, therapy conversions, cancellations, follow-ups, and pending cases.
- Ensure reception and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with the Head Office/Management and submit required operational reports.

5. Performance & Centre Growth

- Monitor key branch indicators including:
- New enquiries
- Assessments
- Assessment-to-therapy conversion
- Active children
- Therapist utilization
- Session cancellations
- Dropouts/discontinuations
- Parent satisfaction
- Revenue and collection performance
- Identify operational or clinical gaps and prepare corrective action plans.
- Support ethical community outreach, school collaborations, awareness programs, workshops, and professional networking.
- Work towards sustainable branch growth without compromising clinical quality.

6. Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure the centre follows applicable skilled, ethical, organizational, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of children's and families' information.
- Ensure informed consent and appropriate documentation are maintained.
- Ensure professionals work within their respective qualifications and scope of practice.
- Support audits,



licensing, inspections, accreditation, and other compliance requirements.

Qualification

Preferred

- MSc/M.Phil / Psy.D / recognized professional qualification in Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology, as applicable.
- Valid RCI registration, where applicable to the professional qualification/designation.

Candidates with strong experience in child development, developmental disabilities, autism, ADHD, behavioural concerns, learning difficulties, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings will be preferred.

Experience

- Preferably 3–8+ years of relevant clinical experience.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Head, Centre Head, Team Lead, Clinical Coordinator, or Branch Manager position is highly preferred.
- Experience supervising a multidisciplinary child-development/rehabilitation team will be an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be evaluated based on clinical quality, parent satisfaction, documentation compliance, staff performance, therapist utilization, assessment conversion, case retention, operational discipline, branch performance, and achievement of organizational objectives.

Reporting

Reports To: Director / Senior Management – Orange CDC

Supervises: Therapists, Psychologists, Special Educators, Reception/Administrative Team and other branch-level staff as assigned.

Role Objective To build and maintain a clinically excellent, ethically responsible, parent-focused and operationally efficient Orange CDC branch while ensuring measurable developmental outcomes for children and sustainable growth of the centre.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹52,452.00 per month
