Position Summary

As a member of the Client Onboarding team, the Client Onboarding Analyst helps ensure the front-to-back client onboarding lifecycle is managed in accordance with the existing risk and control framework. The Analyst reviews new account applications, performs AML-KYC checks and due diligence, opens exchange, bank, and registry accounts, and configures client data onto company systems with a high standard of data integrity.

Working in partnership with the Risk and Compliance teams, the role applies AML, KYC, and BSA policies and procedures as part of day-to-day operations and helps develop and enhance the controls and infrastructure required to build a best-in-class Operations organization. The Analyst also works closely with the Commercial organization to maintain an extraordinary onboarding experience for customers.

This is a developing role suited to someone with 1–3 years of experience across client onboarding, system configuration, and KYC. It requires meticulous attention to detail, a control mentality, the ability to manage multiple workstreams across multiple platforms, and the capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced workplace.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of experience across client onboarding, system configuration, and KYC, or a closely related operations or client service function;

background in a financial services related function preferred.

- Working understanding of AML, KYC, and BSA policies, controls, and analysis, with a clear desire to deepen that specialization.





- Proven attention to detail and the ability to manage new or complex data quickly, including under uncertainty.

- Exemplary organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to communicate effectively around what can and cannot be done within proposed timelines.

- Agility in managing multiple workstreams across multiple platforms.

- A control mentality with meticulous attention to detail, to both follow and enhance operational procedures.

- Effective communicator with an aptitude for building trusted relationships with internal and external clients.

- Ability to understand the wants and needs of clients and communicate effectively around them.

- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure to achieve goals.

- Organized, with a systematic problem-solving approach and a strong sense of ownership and drive.

- Comfortable escalating issues and potential risk, and capable of moving between micro-technical detail and macro-level concepts.

- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the desire and capacity to expand expertise across new applications as needed.

- A strong interest in environmental markets, sustainability, and energy transition.
