Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer role based in Chennai. The role involves preparing detailed quantity take-offs, estimates, and bills of quantities for civil construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project drawings and specifications.

The qualified will manage billing processes, including client and subcontractor billing, measurement verification, and reconciliation of quantities. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and contractors, tracking work progress, updating cost reports, and supporting budget control and cash flow planning. The role also includes maintaining documentation, preparing MIS reports, and contributing to timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in quantity surveying, estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities for civil projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in billing management, client and subcontractor billing, measurement verification,



and reconciliation of project quantities.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting civil drawings, specifications, and contracts, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess skills in project cost control, budgeting, and preparing progress and cost reports for management review.
- Candidates should possess skills in using MS Excel and relevant ERP or billing software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with site teams, contractors, and clients.
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred, with prior experience in quantity surveying and billing in construction projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to timelines and quality standards.
