1. Financial Plan, schedule and co-ordinate construction with the best quality standards, efficient material management to optimize labor, material, and related costs

Give inputs for the maintenance strategy of the company to provide the best possible civil maintenance support in a prompt and cost-effective manner to all user departments

Formulating capital expenditure proposals for civil maintenance department & creating business case for new investments and constructions

Providing department budget estimations to enable budget preparation and finalization and ensuring adherence to the same

Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization

2. Customer Ensure cordial relationships with AMC Vendors at the plant sites to ensure on-time renewal of licenses, etc

Ensure long term relationships with government authorities, local political leaders to ensure smooth land acquisition and grant of permission of construction activities

Liaising with Head EHS to ensure all safety & regulatory requirements are adhered to & mitigating risks in case of non-compliance

Liaison with contractors for in-time construction and development of current sites

3. Operations Design of Civil Structures / Foundations in- house or in co- ordination with consultant, Validation & Improvement of new and existing civil infra- structure by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models

Prepare engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain,



hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data

Set time schedules for progress of the construction activities on the sites

Scrutiny & verification of contractor�s bills for its correctness

Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress; inspecting construction sites

Ensuring & implementing Safety Management framework at construction sites

Leading the preventive civil maintenance schedules and share with the other maintenance teams & production team for execution of civil maintenance for all machines to minimize down-time

Maintaining database of Annual Maintenance Contracts for civil maintenance and ensuring regular updation of the same

Leading action plan in cause of breakdown and ensuring the team attend to breakdowns in minimum time and taking corrective actions to support high productivity In case of breakdown, ensuring proper communication of action plan to all departments

Ensuring smooth functioning of equipment in terms of risk control and precautionary maintenance through constant monitoring





Ensuring effective spares management by working closely with the Head Stores and minimizing sub stores within the department

Monitoring data related to operation of plant and machinery to identify priority areas for civil maintenance

Conducting regular audits to ensure proper functioning of machines to minimize unplanned maintenance

Conduct technical and administrative meetings on preventive maintenance for other functional teams

Overseeing contractor planning process & ensuring adherence

Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all civil maintenance processes

Driving review of maintenance performance & variance analysis on a monthly basis

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislations and further enforcing adherence to requirements at the plant level

Ensure initiatives to integrate modern 2D & 3D detailing technologies using software like Auto Cad, Tekla etc

Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes

Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization

4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs

Recommend training as required for team�s development

Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need

Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
