Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare civil engineering designs, layouts, and detailed construction drawings for cement plants and associated industrial facilities.
- Design foundations for equipment, machinery, silos, conveyors, crushers, clinker storage, raw material handling systems, and other plant structures.
- Develop site grading, drainage, roads, paving, underground utilities, and stormwater management layouts for cement plant projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, BOQs, and technical specifications in accordance with applicable codes and client requirements.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Piping disciplines to ensure seamless multidisciplinary project execution.
- Review vendor drawings, equipment layouts, and interface requirements to ensure compatibility with civil design.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Standards (IS Codes), project specifications, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical discussions to optimize project cost and constructability.
- Provide technical support during project execution, respond to site queries, and assist in resolving design-related issues.




- Review consultant and contractor drawings for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and project records while ensuring timely delivery of design deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.2–8 years of experience in civil design engineering (experience range can be adjusted based on hiring needs).
- Solid knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and relevant codes.
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in STAAD Pro
- Working knowledge of STAAD Pro, or other civil design software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Ability to prepare engineering calculations, quantity estimates, and technical reports.
