Job Title: SAP Basis Architect

Location: Preferably Hyd , but other locations are also fine.

Customer : Lam Research

Role Summary The SAP Basis Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the technical architecture of SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across on-premise and cloud environments. This role involves strategic planning, system upgrades, migrations, and integration with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & Design
- Define and maintain the SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud migration strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP, RISE with SAP).
- System Management
- Resolve/Recommend architectural issues that are causing performance and user experience
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
- Manage system refreshes, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ensure performance tuning, capacity planning, and system monitoring.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement SAP security standards, including user administration and role management.
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation & Optimization
- Drive automation initiatives for SAP operations using Ansible and Terraform
- Integrate SAP with emerging technologies (AI, ML, IoT) where applicable.
- Collaboration




- Work closely with functional teams, SAP Basis and Infosys other Infra teams, and vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Basis administrators.
- Work closely with CTO and SAP teams of Lam

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in SAP Basis administration, with 3+ years in an architect role.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA migrations, HANA DB administration, and cloud deployments.
- Technical Expertise:
- SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA DB, Solution Manager.
- OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and DB (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) knowledge.
- Familiarity with RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Qualified (preferred).
