Key Responsibilities

- Financial Strategy &
- Planning: Develop and execute long-term financial plans to support plant expansion and operational efficiency.

- Operational Cost Control: Monitor unit-level costs (raw materials, energy, logistics) to ensure margins are protected in a volatile commodity market.

- Working Capital Management: Manage cash flow, trade credit, and inventory levels (iron ore, coal, sponge iron) to ensure smooth plant operations.

- Compliance &

- Taxation: Ensure strict adherence to GST, corporate tax, and industry-specific mining royalties/levies applicable in Jharkhand.

- Audit &

- Reporting: Lead internal and external audits; provide transparent financial reporting to the Board.

- Fund Management: Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and hedging strategies for raw material procurement.

Required Qualifications &





- Skills

- Educational Background: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a premier institution.

Experience

- 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Manufacturing or Steel/Sponge Iron sector.

- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally Prime), financial modelling, and cost accounting.

Soft Skills:

- Ability to work in a demanding, on-site plant workplace.

- Strong local networking ability (knowledge of Jharkhands regulatory landscape is a significant advantage).

- High level of integrity and strategic mindset.
