JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – CHEMISTRY FACULTY The Chemistry Faculty shall be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Conduct Chemistry classes effectively for assigned batches and courses.
- Deliver concepts in a clear, systematic, and student-friendly manner.
- Cover the prescribed syllabus within the stipulated academic schedule.
- Integrate conceptual learning with competitive-exam-oriented preparation wherever applicable.
- Lesson Planning & Preparation
- Prepare lesson plans, study material, worksheets, assignments, and practice questions.
- Plan classes according to the academic calendar and batch requirements.
- Ensure appropriate balance between theory, numerical problems, reactions, and application-based questions.
- Tests & Academic Assessment
- Conduct and evaluate class tests, assignments, quizzes, and examinations as assigned.
- Analyse student performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide timely academic feedback and remedial support to students.
- Student Mentoring
- Guide students regarding academic performance, preparation strategies, and subject-related difficulties.
- Monitor the progress of assigned students/batches.
- Provide additional academic support to academically weak and high-performing students as required.
- Doubt Resolution
- Resolve students' Chemistry-related doubts during designated doubt sessions and classes.
- Ensure that key conceptual and numerical difficulties are adequately addressed.
- Academic Coordination
- Coordinate with the Academic Head, Centre Head, and other faculty members regarding academic planning and execution.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, workshops, training programmes, and other institutional activities.
- Content Development
- Contribute to the preparation, review, and improvement of study material, question banks,
assignments, test papers, and other academic resources.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of Chemistry content before use.
- Classroom Discipline & Professional Conduct
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and productive classroom environment.
- Follow institute policies, academic procedures, reporting systems, and professional standards.
- Maintain punctuality and regularity in classes and assigned academic duties.
- Student & Parent Interaction
- Provide appropriate academic feedback to students and parents through authorised institutional channels.
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow the institute's communication policies.
- Result & Performance Responsibility
- Work towards improving students' academic performance and examination results.
- Analyse test and examination results and implement suitable corrective measures.
- Take ownership of the academic progress of assigned batches.
- Additional Academic Duties
- Conduct revision classes, extra classes, doubt-clearing sessions, seminars, workshops, and special classes whenever assigned.
- Perform other academic responsibilities reasonably assigned by the Centre Head or Academic Management.
- Confidentiality & Institutional Compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of institute study material, test papers, question banks, student data, internal academic information, and other proprietary information.
- Not share or distribute institute material or confidential information without prior authorisation.
- Comply with all applicable institute policies and instructions.
Performance Expectations The faculty member is expected to demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective teaching methodology, punctuality, professional conduct, student-centric approach, and continuous commitment towards improving academic outcomes. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
