Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chemist role located in Malshiras. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized chemical analyses on metal samples, raw materials, and finished products to support recycling, trading, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include preparing and standardizing reagents, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, recording and interpreting test results, and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and relevant industry regulations. The role involves collaborating with production and quality teams to troubleshoot process issues,



optimize material quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Chemist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, following safety protocols, and participating in audits and laboratory housekeeping activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in analytical chemistry techniques, sample preparation, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, titration setups, and other relevant instruments.
- Candidates should possess skills in data recording, report preparation, and interpreting test results for process and quality control.
- Candidates should possess skills in applying laboratory safety practices, chemical handling, and adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating findings clearly, and supporting production and quality initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is preferred.
- Experience in metallurgical, metal recycling, or industrial manufacturing laboratories will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Malshiras, manage multiple tests simultaneously, and maintain high attention to detail.
