Role Description The Chartered Accountant at NextNation will manage and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting audits, maintaining accurate ledgers, and monitoring cash flow and tax obligations. The role also involves providing financial analysis, advising on cost optimization, supporting internal controls, and collaborating with management on strategic financial decisions.

on-site position based in Bengaluru, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) and strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience in audit, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work with accounting software and ERP systems; strong skills in Excel and financial modeling.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Prior experience in financial roles within professional services, consulting, or global mobility/immigration domains is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
