Role & responsibilities :

- Manage and review corporate tax compliances, including income-tax returns, tax audit-related matters and other direct tax filings.
- Assist in corporate tax computations and related compliance.
- Handle withholding tax matters, including determination of applicability and rates, treaty analysis, documentation and related compliances.
- Prepare and file periodic TDS returns.
- Review TDS deductions, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with clients and auditors for completion of statutory audits.
- Prepare and provide tax schedules,reconciliations and other information required for audits.
- Monitor applicable tax-compliance timelines and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain proper working papers and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to obtain required financial and tax information.
- Manage tax assessments and litigation matters, including review of notices, preparation of submissions, appeals and representation before tax authorities.
