Responsblities:-

1. Accounts & Financial Management :

- Lead the complete Accounts & Finance function across the dealership. • Ensure accurate and timely accounting of vehicle sales, service, parts, accessories, insurance and other dealership revenue. • Ensure timely monthly book closure and financial reporting. • Review ledgers, journals, provisions, accruals and outstanding balances. • Maintain appropriate accounting controls and documentation.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS :

- Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and financial MIS. • Analyse department-wise profitability for Sales, Workshop, Parts and other business verticals. • Monitor actual performance against budget and highlight variances. • Provide financial insights and corrective actions to Management.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance :

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements. • Review GST reconciliations, ITC and tax ledgers. • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payments. • Monitor statutory notices and coordinate responses with consultants/authorities.

4. Dealership & OEM Accounting:

- Ensure accurate accounting of OEM invoices, credit notes, debit notes, incentives and claims. • Reconcile OEM accounts and outstanding claims regularly. • Monitor OEM financial reporting requirements and ensure timely submission. • Review vehicle billing, registration-related accounting and sales documentation.

5. Audit & Compliance Management

- Coordinate statutory, tax, internal and OEM audits. • Ensure audit observations are addressed within defined timelines. • Maintain audit-ready financial records and supporting documents. • Track corrective actions and prevent recurrence of audit findings.

6. Budgeting & Cost Control





- Prepare annual departmental budgets and financial forecasts. • Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets. • Analyse major cost variances and recommend corrective actions. • Support Management in cost optimisation and profitability improvement.

7. Accounts Team Leadership

- Lead and supervise the entire Accounts & Finance team. • Allocate responsibilities and establish explicit KRAs/KPIs. • Conduct regular team performance reviews. • Ensure adequate manpower and role clarity within the Accounts function. • Develop team members for higher responsibilities.

8. Training & Capability Development

- Identify Accounts team training requirements. • Conduct/coordinate minimum one structured training or knowledge session every month. • Train the team on GST, taxation, accounting controls, ERP/DMS, reconciliation and dealership processes. • Evaluate training effectiveness and close identified capability gaps.

9. Monthly JD & KRA Review

- Conduct a monthly review of Accounts team KRAs and JD deliverables. • Review achievement against defined KPIs and identify gaps. • Recommend KRA/JD revisions whenever business processes, OEM requirements or responsibilities change. • Ensure KRAs remain measurable, relevant and aligned with dealership objectives. • Submit monthly Accounts performance review to Management.

10. Process Improvement & Digitalisation

- Identify opportunities to improve accounting accuracy, reporting and process efficiency.



• Implement minimum 2 measurable finance/process improvement initiatives annually. Promote effective use of ERP/DMS, automation and MIS dashboards. • Reduce manual errors, duplication and financial process delays.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. Additional qualification or certification in Finance/Taxation will be preferred.
- Experience: 812 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in automobile dealerships will be preferred.
- Operational Experience: Experience in handling multi-department or multi-location operations will be an added advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, accounting standards, audits, MIS, working capital and financial controls.
- Dealership Knowledge: Experience in OEM accounting and reconciliation, vehicle sales accounting, parts, accessories and service inventory accounting.
- Financial Skills: Strong experience in financial reporting, P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
- Software Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ERP/DMS, Tally and/or SAP.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, supervise and develop the Accounts & Finance team.
