Position Overview The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall administration, operations, standard operating procedure (SOP) compliance, and execution of the training centre under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). The role serves as the central administrative node connecting center-level teams (Trainers, Mobilizers, MIS, Quality, and Placement Coordinators) with the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) leadership, State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM), and Central Technical Support Agency (CTSA).

Key Responsibilities1. Centre Setup & Infrastructure Compliance

- Coordinate centre due diligence (DDR) and inspections conducted by SRLM, CTSA, and internal Quality teams.
- Ensure all physical infrastructure—classrooms, trade-specific labs, IT labs, biometric devices, CCTV cameras, and hostel facilities (if residential)—adheres strictly to DDU-GKY SOP norms.
- Supervise centre maintenance, cleanliness, safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid), power backup, and lab tooling/consumables.

1. Mobilization, Admissions & Batch Management

- Coordinate with community mobilizers to ensure target enrollments as per the approved Prospective Project Work Schedule (PPWS).
- Oversee candidate verification, eligibility checks (BPL/PIP/SECC status, age, identity proof, caste certificates), and onboarding documentation.
- Manage batch formation, candidate freezing within the pre-freeze period, and handling dropout replacement protocols.
- Ensure timely distribution of candidate deliverables (uniforms, ID cards, study materials, tablet computers/toolkits) and maintain distribution registers.

1. Academic & Daily Operations

- Enforce implementation of the Activity-cum-Lesson Planner (ACLP) and daily timetable across all domains.
- Monitor daily attendance of candidates and staff via biometric punch systems and physical registers; actively address absenteeism.
- Ensure backup trainers or substitute schedules are activated during staff leaves to avoid instructional downtime.
- Facilitate internal evaluations, periodic trade assessments,



and soft skills/IT training sessions.

1. Audit, Compliance & MIS Coordination

- Maintain zero-tolerance compliance with DDU-GKY SOP guidelines and quickly close observations raised during inspections or desktop audits.
- Coordinate with the Centre MIS Coordinator to ensure real-time data sync across designated portals (Kaushal Pragati, ERP, MRIGS, etc.).
- Ensure continuous recording, backup, and archival of mandatory CCTV footage across labs, classrooms, and administrative areas.
- Organize and maintain candidate dossiers, assessment records, leave records, and visitor logbooks.

1. Placement & Post-Placement Facilitation

- Assist the placement team in organizing industry visits, guest lectures, on-the-job training (OJT), and campus interviews.
- Facilitate candidate counseling and parent-teacher meetings to prepare candidates for migration/relocation.
- Support verification of placement proof collection (appointment letters, bank statements, payslips) and three-month retention tracking.

1. Administration & Financial Management

- Manage daily centre operational expenses, petty cash registers, and vendor bill verifications.
- Verify food, boarding, and lodging arrangements for residential candidates to ensure hygiene and dietary standards.
- Calculate and verify candidate travel allowances (TA/DA) and stipend reimbursements as per scheme norms.

Candidate Profile & QualificationsCriteriaRequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree (Any discipline) / MSW / MBA / B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized institution.Experience3 to 5 years in vocational training or education operations, with at least 1–2 years handling a DDU-GKY, PMKVY, or state skill mission centre.SOP KnowledgeThorough understanding of DDU-GKY Standard Operating Procedures, inspection parameters, and MIS reporting cycles.Key SkillsTeam leadership, conflict resolution, liaisoning with government nodal officers, audit handling, and vendor management.Tech SkillsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), biometric software management, and portal data handling. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
