About the Role

We are looking for a Calypso Back Office BA with around 7 years of strong Calypso Back Office experience. Collateral module knowledge is also required. You will bridge business, operations, and technology — translating back office and collateral requirements into well-defined Calypso configurations and functional specifications across capital markets programmes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business analysis for Calypso Back Office — eliciting, documenting, and managing functional requirements across settlement, confirmation, reconciliation, and collateral workstreams.
- Define and validate back office workflows — settlement instructions, SWIFT messaging, nostro reconciliation, confirmation management, and SSI configuration.
- Document collateral module requirements — margin call processing, collateral allocation, dispute management, and collateral reporting.
- Conduct gap analysis — identifying differences between current Calypso back office setup and target state requirements.
- Collaborate with Calypso developers and operations teams — translating back office and collateral requirements into Calypso configuration and technical specifications.
- Support UAT activities — developing test scripts, validating settlement and collateral outputs, and coordinating business sign-off.
- Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives as an embedded BA.
- Produce clear documentation — functional specifications, process maps, and UAT sign-off evidence.

What We're Looking For

1.



Around 7 years of strong Calypso Back Office experience in a Business Analyst capacity within capital markets environments.
2. Deep Calypso back office knowledge — settlement workflows, SWIFT messaging (MT540-543, MT103, MT202), nostro reconciliation, confirmation management, and SSI management.
3. Strong requirements documentation skills — user stories, BRDs, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
4. Good capital markets domain knowledge — financial instruments (derivatives, FX, fixed income, equities), trade lifecycle, and back office operations.
5. Solid SQL skills — data querying and validation for settlement and collateral reconciliation testing.
6. Strong stakeholder management — engaging operations, risk, finance, and technology teams effectively.
7. Good Agile delivery experience — Jira and Confluence in sprint-based delivery teams.
