Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintenance
- Maintenance supervisors oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems.
- They may be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed.
- Supervisors hire workers, organize schedules and assign work activity.
- In charge may perform training to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel records.
- Supervisors coordinate with building management, maintain the inventory of tools and hire workers.
- May provide training that covers equipment, techniques and procedures for a building or complex's various systems. Also assist employees with related administrative and human resources issues.
- Maintenance-related duties include performing initial evaluations of building systems and distributing work assignments. Supervisors evaluate each worker's performance to ensure quality operations; they also investigate accidents and prepare relevant reports.
- The In-charge should be a skilled technician with exposure on HVAC system, RO Plant, DG Sets, electric Panel Maintenance, general civil infra, maintenance issues.
Electricity
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools,
to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, Public Administration, or related field of study.
Experience Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- The ideal candidate must have minimum of three years of experience.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
- Should be cheerful, bright and confident. The candidate must have explicit speech. He/she must be a helpful and positive minded person with team orientation.
