Role Description The CAD Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad, responsible for overseeing CAD and BIM production standards across multiple projects. Day-to-day activities include developing, implementing, and maintaining CAD standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality construction drawings and models. The role involves coordinating with project teams to manage drawing sets, resolving design coordination issues, and supporting staff with technical guidance on CAD and BIM tools.

The CAD Manager will collaborate with project managers and designers to align digital documentation with project requirements, schedules, and quality objectives. This position also includes training team members,



monitoring compliance with standards, and continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and CAD Standards for architectural and construction documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model coordination and integration with project workflows.
- Candidates should possess experience in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry practices.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Relevant proficiency in leading CAD/BIM teams, mentoring staff, and providing technical support.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in a CAD/BIM management or coordination role within the construction or architecture sector is highly beneficial.
