Junior C# Developer Installation & Distribution Tools

Role Description We are seeking a Junior C# Developer to join a team dedicated to developing tools for the installation and distribution of software applications, with a cloud-oriented approach. Working within a structured Azure DevOps setting, you will collaborate with DevOps Engineers and other developers to optimize release flows and simplify the product installation experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Development: Develop and maintain C#/.NET components and tools for installation, configuration, and distribution processes.
- Pipeline Integration: Integrate developed tools into CI/CD pipelines managed on Azure DevOps.
- Release Management: Contribute to packaging, versioning, and release activities in Windows environments.
- Installer Logic: Implement update, rollback, and dependency management logic within installers.
- Diagnostics: Integrate logging, diagnostic, and telemetry features.




- Documentation: Clearly document tools and procedures for maintainability and reuse.

Requirements

- Foundational knowledge of C# and .NET (Framework or Core).
- Interest in build, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, TFVC).
- Ability to work effectively within a structured team using Azure DevOps.
- A passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills

- Experience (even minimal) with Azure DevOps / Azure DevOps Server.
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell for Windows-based automation.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
- Interest in applying AI to automation and distribution processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
