nRole Overview
nWe are looking for an experienced Junior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ETL platforms, Ab Initio, and large-scale data pipelines. The role involves developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modernising ETL solutions, including migration of legacy workloads to cloud-native architectures.
nKey Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and support complex ETL workflows using Ab Initio.n
- Analyse production issues, understand business/data flows, and provide effective solutions.n
- Design and recommend scalable, reliable ETL and data engineering solutions.n
- Work closely with product, platform, engineering, and operations teams.n
- Support legacy ETL modernisation and migration initiatives to cloud platforms.n




- Develop cloud-based ETL pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue and PySpark.n
- Participate in production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and issue resolution.n
- Work in shifts and provide rotational weekend support as required.n
- Contribute to engineering best practices around CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment.n

- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio and ETL development.n
- Positive understanding of data pipelines, data integration, and batch processing.n
- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP, preferably AWS.n
- Experience with AWS Glue and PySpark is an advantage.n
- Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven services.n
- Understanding of microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.n
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support.n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.n
