Role: Business Operation Manager

Role Summary The Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial governance, resource optimization, and stakeholder engagement to support business growth and profitability. This role acts as a key liaison between Business Leadership, Resource Management, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Delivery teams to ensure effective workforce planning, revenue realization, contract compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Margin Management

- Drive margin expansion initiatives through effective resource utilization and financial governance.
- Monitor and improve business profitability by tracking revenue, costs, utilization, and operational metrics.
- Partner with Business Finance teams to review financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure timely invoicing and revenue realization across accounts and projects.
- Track and follow up on account receivables (AR) to reduce outstanding collections and improve cash flow.
- Monitor unbilled revenue and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure timely billing closure.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.

Contract & SOW Governance

- Manage Statement of Work (SOW) lifecycle activities, including renewals, extensions, and amendments.
- Coordinate with business leaders, finance, and legal teams to ensure contract compliance and timely execution.
- Track contract milestones and proactively mitigate risks related to contract expirations.

Resource Management & Workforce Planning

- Collaborate with Resource Management teams to optimize workforce allocation and utilization.
- Oversee associate allocation, project mapping, and deployment strategies to maximize business efficiency.
- Monitor bench management and drive effective resource deployment across projects.
- Ensure accurate resource tracking and reporting across business portfolios.





Talent & Associate Operations

- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to support workforce planning and hiring requirements.
- Facilitate smooth associate onboarding processes and readiness for project deployment.
- Ensure timely associate allocation to projects aligned with skill requirements and business demand.
- Support talent mobility and workforce capacity planning initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Support

- Act as a trusted business partner to delivery leaders, finance teams, resource managers, and talent stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve business, operational, and financial objectives.
- Prepare and present operational dashboards, financial reports, and business reviews to leadership.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, governance standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in Business Operations, Finance Operations, Resource Management, or Program Management.
- Solid understanding of financial metrics, revenue realization, utilization management, and business governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
