Role Description The Business Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, including financial management, budgeting, and reporting to ensure profitability and cost control.

The Business

Manager coordinates staffing needs, supports hiring and training, and manages schedules to maintain service standards and operational efficiency. They work closely with the leadership team to implement business strategies, optimize vendor relationships, and maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Manager also monitors guest feedback, identifies opportunities for improvement,



and helps create a consistent, high-quality experience in line with Bookends Hospitality’s values.

Qualifications

- Strong business and financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and basic accounting.
- Experience in operations management within hospitality, food and beverage, or a similar service-driven environment.
- Proficiency in staff supervision, scheduling, performance management, and team development.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage directly with guests and partners.
- Ability to use POS systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software for reporting and analysis.
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills in fast-paced settings.
- Knowledge of local health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to restaurant operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in the Greater Ahmedabad hospitality market is an advantage.
