About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Business Finance & Planning professional who can work closely with business, finance and leadership teams to drive financial planning, business performance, MIS, analytics and growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business finance, FP&A;, financial analysis, MIS, budgeting, reconciliation and business strategy, with the ability to independently manage data, identify business opportunities and translate financial insights into actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Finance & Planning

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and business performance tracking.
- Prepare monthly/weekly business performance dashboards and management MIS.
- Analyze revenue, cost, profitability and operational metrics.
- Identify deviations against budgets/targets and provide actionable insights.

2. MIS & Analytics

- Build and maintain robust MIS, dashboards and financial reporting frameworks.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, leakages, productivity opportunities and business risks.
- Develop business performance trackers and automated reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and business data.

3. Growth & Business Strategy

- Work with business leadership to develop and execute growth plans.
- Evaluate business opportunities, new initiatives and expansion plans from a financial perspective.
- Conduct profitability analysis, sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
- Track business KPIs and recommend corrective actions to improve growth and profitability.

4. Reconciliation & Financial Controls

- Manage revenue, payout, collection and financial reconciliations.




- Identify discrepancies and financial leakages and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Strengthen financial controls and improve month-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely closure of financial issues.

5. Cross-functional Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Business, Operations, Sales, Finance, Product and Leadership teams.
- Translate business requirements into financial and analytical frameworks.
- Present key business insights and performance updates to senior management.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A;, Business Planning, Financial Planning, Strategy & Analytics or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in building MIS, dashboards and business performance trackers.
- Experience in reconciliation, financial controls and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to convert data into clear business insights and recommendations.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in fintech, lending, NBFC, financial services, DSA/channel business, marketplace, mobility, SaaS or other high-growth businesses would be preferred.

Experience in multi-location/multi-business operations, lender/vendor management, collections or payout/revenue reconciliation will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be someone who is more than a reporting/MIS analyst who can understand the business, independently analyze financial and operational data, identify problems, work with stakeholders and help leadership make better business decisions.
