Role Summary

Altius Customer Services is looking for Business Development Interns to support outbound prospecting for our BPO service lines. The interns will conduct cold calling and business outreach to identify, qualify, and log potential leads across our target sectors (Healthcare, Wellness, D2C, FMCG) in India

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct outbound cold calls and business outreach to identify potential prospects across target industries and geographies
- Research and build prospect lists based on criteria provided by the BD team (sector, company size, region)
- Qualify leads through structured conversations and capture key information (decision-maker details, business need, timeline)
- Log all calls, outcomes, and lead details accurately in the Lead Hub (LMS) or designated tracking sheet
- Coordinate with the BD Manager / Lead for follow-ups, appointment setting, and handoff of qualified leads
- Share daily/weekly call and lead-generation reports with the reporting manager

Required Skills & Qualifications




- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
- Robust verbal communication skills in English
- Confident, resilient, and comfortable making outbound calls and field visits to new contacts
- Basic proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace
- Ability to follow a structured process and maintain accurate records

Good to Have
- Prior internship or academic project experience in sales, telecalling, or business development
- Familiarity with CRM or lead management tools
- Basic understanding of the BPO industry
