Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane that requires extensive travel to active project sites, industrial hubs, and client offices. This role is ideal for a motivated professional or a fresh graduate eager to build a career in the infrastructure and heavy machinery sector.

Instead of cold corporate sales, this role focuses on relationship management, ground-level networking, and coordination. You will be the face of the company on project sites, working closely with project managers and contractors to understand their crane requirements, maintain high fleet occupancy, and ensure projects remain profitable.

Key Responsibilities

- On-Site Client Networking: Travel frequently to construction, infrastructure, and industrial project sites to meet project heads, site engineers, and procurement teams.
- Maximize Fleet Occupancy: Actively monitor active projects to identify upcoming lifting needs,



ensuring our cranes are seamlessly deployed from one project to the next with minimal downtime.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with existing and new clients through regular site visits and prompt service support.
- Protect Project Profitability: Learn to evaluate project timelines and logistics to assist in preparing profitable rental proposals, keeping track of mobilization costs and hire rates.
- Promote Sustainable Solutions: Introduce and pitch the company’s recent EV crane capabilities to eco-conscious clients and green energy projects.
- Coordination & Reporting: Act as a bridge between the client on-site and our internal operations/engineering teams in Thane to ensure smooth equipment delivery and setup.

Qualifications

- Experience Level: Freshers are highly encouraged to apply. Prior experience of 0–2 years in client coordination, operations, or field-based roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- High Travel Readiness: Passion for being on the field; comfortable with extensive, frequent travel to project locations.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing and confident personality with the ability to converse easily with site workers, engineers, and corporate executives.
- Eagerness to Learn: Ability to quickly grasp technical details about crane capacities, lifting mechanisms, and rental math (yields, margins).
- Basic Business Acumen: Comfort working with numbers, understanding basic cost-and-profit structures, and handling documentation.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil preferred), Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
