The Business Analyst Data, BI & AI Automation will own end to end data extraction, analysis, BI reporting, and AI led automation across business functions. The role will combine solid analytical and technical capabilities with hands on ownership of data pipelines, dashboards, AI enabled workflows, and automated reporting. The role will work closely with Operations, Growth, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other business teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and enable faster, data driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

1.Data Engineering & Analysis

- Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries on BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Analyse data across business functions to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reliability across systems.
- Establish data validation and sanity check processes to improve data quality.

2. BI, Reporting & Automation

- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI or other BI tools.
- Develop automated reporting workflows to reduce manual reporting effort.
- Identify repetitive and manual processes and design scalable automation solutions.
- Build workflows connecting BigQuery, BI tools, and AI systems for end to end reporting automation.
- Develop standardised reporting frameworks and dashboards for business and leadership reviews.

3. AI Integration & Enablement

- Leverage AI tools such as Claude, GPT, or similar platforms for data querying, reporting, and analysis.
- Configure AI tools with relevant organisational and business context to improve the quality of insights.
- Build AI assisted workflows that enable business teams to query data, generate insights, and access
- self serve reporting.
- Continuously improve AI enabled solutions based on business requirements, feedback, and evolving use cases.




- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into existing reporting and analytics processes.

4. Cross Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other business teams to

identify data and automation opportunities.
- Translate business problems and requirements into practical data and automation solutions.
- Support business planning, reviews, forecasting, and adhoc analytical requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to drive adoption of data driven and automated processes.
- Track requirements and ensure timely delivery of agreed solutions.

5. Data Governance & Reporting Practices

- Establish and maintain organisation level data quality and validation checks.
- Define and document standardised reporting processes and methodologies.
- Ensure consistency in metrics, definitions, and reporting across functions.
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines, dashboards, workflows, and reporting processes.
- Drive adoption of structured, automated, and scalable data practices across the organisation.

6. Reporting & Insights

- Prepare regular business and leadership reports highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Translate complex datasets into clear and actionable business insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision making.
- Support ad hoc data analysis and business reviews as required.
- Highlight datadriven recommendations and potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

1.Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline.

2.2-4 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, BI, or Data Engineering.

3.Prior hands on experience with BigQuery and Power BI or similar BI tools is mandatory.

4.Experience in D2C, FMCG, e commerce, q commerce, retail, or consumer technology preferred.

5.Exposure to AI integrated reporting, analytics, or automation projects will be an added advantage.
