Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with robust Finance domain expertise to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial processes, requirements gathering, business process analysis, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives within Finance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders.

Conduct workshops and stakeholder meetings to understand current and future business needs.

Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

Analyze finance processes including

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets

Financial Reporting

Budgeting & Forecasting

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

Collaborate with development, testing, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management.

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.

Create business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), and gap analysis reports.

Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills





5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.

Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation.

Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira/Confluence.

Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Workday Finance, Dynamics 365 Finance, or NetSuite.

Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.

Exposure to Finance transformation, automation, or digital initiatives.

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.

MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA certification is preferred.
