Role Description The Branch Manager role at Shalimar Paints is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow.

The Branch

Manager is responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, including sales performance, inventory management, and customer service excellence. This role involves leading and coaching the branch team, setting and tracking targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Manager will coordinate with regional and corporate teams, manage key distributor and retailer relationships, and support local marketing and promotional activities. The role also includes monitoring market trends, resolving operational issues,



preparing periodic reports, and driving branch growth in alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development abilities, with experience in meeting revenue targets and expanding market presence.
- Proficiency in branch operations management, including inventory control, process compliance, and resource allocation.
- Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching, performance review, and staff development.
- Customer relationship management capabilities, with a focus on service quality, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Good analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with basic data analysis, MS Office tools, and performance tracking.
- Prior experience in paints, building materials, FMCG, or related industries is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work in office and travel within the local region as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
