Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BOP Lead to lead and manage the overall Balance of Plant activities for wind energy projects. The role will be responsible for project execution, contractor management, electrical infrastructure, substation/switchyard works, commissioning, safety, quality, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead overall Wind BOP execution from construction to testing and commissioning.

2. Manage 33kV HT lines, pooling substation, switchyard and evacuation systems.

3. Supervise installation and commissioning of 100/200 MVA transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CT, PT/CVT, protection relays and metering systems.

4. Coordinate SCADA, communication and electrical systems with relevant teams/OEMs.

5. Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site manpower.

6. Monitor project schedule, progress, quality and cost.

7. Review drawings, technical specifications, BOQ and method statements.

8. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management and O&M; teams.

9. Lead testing, commissioning, energization and handover activities.

10. Ensure compliance with HSE, electrical safety and quality standards.

11. Resolve technical and site execution issues and escalate critical matters to management.

12. Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.

13. Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, test reports and project handover documents.





Required Skills

1. Robust experience in Wind BOP / Electrical BOP project execution.

2. Excellent knowledge of 33kV/110kV/220kV electrical systems and substations.

3. Experience in switchyard, transformer, HT line and evacuation infrastructure.

4. Knowledge of SCADA, protection systems, metering and communication systems.

5. Strong contractor, team and project management skills.

6. Experience in testing, commissioning and energization.

7. Strong troubleshooting and decision-making ability.

8. Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Wind Energy / Renewable Energy BOP projects, particularly in substation, switchyard, HT transmission and power evacuation projects, will be preferred.
