Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled BOP Technician to carry out operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and repair of electrical BOP systems at wind project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform operation and maintenance of Wind BOP electrical systems.

- Work on 33kV HT lines, substations, switchyards and electrical panels.

- Inspect and troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CT, PT/CVT and protection systems.

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.

- Assist in testing, commissioning and energization activities.

- Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA and communication systems related to BOP.

- Perform cable termination, electrical connections and equipment inspections.

- Follow PTW, LOTO, electrical safety and HSE procedures.

- Maintain maintenance records, checklists and daily activity reports.

- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, OEMs and contractors during breakdowns and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Wind BOP / Electrical Maintenance.

- Knowledge of 33kV HT systems,



substations and switchyards.

- Basic knowledge of transformers, breakers, isolators, CT/PT/CVT and protection relays.

- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting.

- Basic understanding of SCADA and communication systems.

- Good knowledge of electrical safety and maintenance practices.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred

Candidates with experience in Wind Energy, Substation, Transmission Line, Switchyard and BOP projects will be preferred.
