A Courier Booking Domestic and International Coordinator ensures that packages get from the sender to the receiver smoothly. They manage shipments traveling both inside the country (domestic) and across the world (international).Think of this role as a traffic controller for packages. They handle the paperwork, talk to customers, and solve problems when a delivery gets stuck.

1. Booking and Scheduling

- Taking orders: Receiving shipping requests from customers via phone, email, or online systems.

- Choosing carriers: Selecting the best courier service (like DTDC,DHL, FedEx, or local services) based on price and speed.

- Scheduling pickups: Arranging for drivers to collect packages from customers.

1. Documentation and Compliance

- Creating labels: Generating shipping labels, barcodes, and tracking numbers.

- Handling customs paperwork: Filling out crucial documents for international shipping, such as commercial invoices and customs declarations.

- Checking rules:



Ensuring packages do not contain banned items and match the laws of the destination country.

1. Tracking and Problem Solving

- Monitoring shipments: Watching the progress of packages from start to finish.

- Fixing delays: Contacting customs offices or warehouses if a package gets stuck.

- Handling claims: Processing paperwork if a package is lost or damaged.

1. Customer Service

- Giving quotes: Telling customers how much a shipment will cost and how long it will take.

- Updating clients: Sending tracking updates and answering customer questions.

- Key Skills Needed

- Organization: Managing dozens of different shipments at the same time without losing track.

- Communication: Speaking clearly with truck drivers, customs officials, and upset customers.
