Responsibilities
- Assist in writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on BNB Chain (Solidity)
- Support integration of frontend interfaces with smart contracts using Web3 libraries (ethers.js/web3.js)
- Write unit tests for contracts using frameworks like Hardhat or Foundry
- Help debug and document contract behavior, gas usage and transaction flows
- Participate in code reviews and learn secure coding practices for smart contracts
- Assist with wallet integration (MetaMask, WalletConnect) and basic authentication flows (e.g., SIWE)
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to understand API/data requirements
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals (consensus, gas, transactions, wallets)
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (async/await, working with APIs/JSON, basic TS typing); familiarity with ethers.js or web3.js is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Solidity (academic projects, bootcamps, or personal projects acceptable)
- Understanding of EVM basics and how smart contracts interact with the chain
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Solid communication skills and ability to work in a small, fast-moving startup team
- Curiosity about financial markets, trading systems,
or decentralized finance
- Comfortable with ambiguity and iterative development in a growing product
Good to Have
- Personal projects or GitHub contributions involving smart contracts (even testnet deployments)
- Exposure to Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, or Remix
- Basic understanding of DeFi concepts (AMMs, liquidity pools, DEXs)
- Familiarity with React/Next.js for dApp frontends
- Coursework or certifications in blockchain development
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
Selection Process will consist of three rounds
1. Primary evaluation will be executed through comprehensive, hands-on programming assessments on the day of interview.
2. A formal code review followed by a rigorous technical discussion regarding the submitted codebase will be conducted.
3. A week-long practical assessment involving a specific development assignment will be administered to evaluate candidate performance.
Only final year students who can contribute full time will be considered for internship opportunities. Academic records and outstanding backlogs will not influence the selection process. Advancement in the evaluation process is contingent upon the successful demonstration of fundamental hands-on programming skills.
