Design and develop BIW Side Body components including:

- Side Outer Panel
- Side Inner Panel
- A-Pillar, B-Pillar, C-Pillar
- Rocker Panel
- Quarter Panel
- Reinforcements and Brackets
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with packaging, crashworthiness, durability, pedestrian safety, and manufacturing requirements.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support GD&T; implementation.
- Coordinate with CAE teams for structural, durability, and crash performance optimization.
- Support design reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering change management activities.
- Work closely with tooling and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and production readiness.
- Interface with suppliers for component development, tooling reviews, and issue resolution.
- Maintain engineering documentation and release data as per PLM processes.
- Support prototype build, vehicle assembly, and issue resolution activities.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of BIW Side Body architecture and automotive body structures.
- Experience in sheet metal design, stamping processes, welding, and joining technologies.
- Knowledge of automotive design standards and DFMEA.




- Understanding of GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Experience in engineering change management and product development lifecycle.
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
