Role Description The Banquet Manager role is a full time, on-site position based at Jenneys Residency in Coimbatore.

The Banquet

Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising banquets and events, ensuring smooth operations from pre-event coordination to post-event follow-up. Day-to-day tasks include managing banquet bookings, coordinating with clients to understand event requirements, preparing event layouts, and overseeing food and beverage service. The role involves leading and scheduling banquet staff, collaborating closely with the kitchen and front office teams, monitoring service quality,



and resolving any operational or guest-related issues promptly.

Manager is also expected to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines, and contribute to revenue growth through effective upselling and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused abilities, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and external partners.
- Sound knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, banquet service standards, and menu coordination.
- Experience in Hiring, training, and supervising banquet and service staff.
- Prior experience as a Banquet Manager or in hotel events management, preferably in a full-service or upscale property.
- Ability to manage multiple events, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under time pressure.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
