Title: Banking Risk & Control Specialist (BSS)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and manage Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across banking operations.

Design, implement, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to proactively identify operational risks.

Perform control testing and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.

Drive issue remediation by tracking action plans and ensuring timely closure of identified gaps.

Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and management presentations for senior stakeholders.

Collaborate with business, compliance, audit, and risk teams to strengthen the operational risk framework.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.

Analyze banking processes and recommend control improvements to mitigate operational risks.

Support risk reviews, audits,



and regulatory inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

9+ years of overall experience, with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Banking (preferably Retail and Corporate Banking).

Strong expertise in

Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)

Key Risk Indicator (KRI) design and monitoring

Control Testing

Issue Remediation

Governance & Risk Reporting

Experience with core banking platforms such as:

Flex cube

Finacle

RLS

Valuable understanding of reconciliation processes and operational control workflows.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
