Role Description: The BAMS Teleconsultant will provide professional Ayurvedic medical consultation to patients through telecommunication channels, including phone and video calls, while adhering to clinical protocols and ethical standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking detailed patient histories, assessing symptoms, recommending appropriate Ayurvedic treatments and lifestyle modifications, and documenting consultations accurately in the system. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, responding to patient queries, ensuring follow-up care, and contributing to the refinement of telehealth processes.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dwarka,
where the consultant will work from the company’s facility and collaborate closely with operations and technology teams to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare services.
Qualifications
- Recognized BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree and valid registration/licensure as required by regulatory authorities.
- Strong clinical knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnostics, treatments, and preventive healthcare, with the ability to apply them in teleconsultation settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English and relevant regional languages, with the ability to explain medical information clearly and sensitively to diverse patients.
- Comfort with using digital tools and telemedicine platforms, basic computer skills, and the ability to document consultations systematically.
- Demonstrated empathy, patient-centric approach, and strong ethical standards, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with clinical guidelines.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Dwarka, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively in a structured teleconsultation environment.
- Prior experience in telemedicine or outpatient consultation, and familiarity with electronic health records, is preferred but not mandatory.
