Develop test cases and execute testing for various projects, initiatives, and BAU tasks. Contribute to the Automation testing framework of the unit. Collaborate with developers and other colleagues to improve the quality of our products throughout the whole feature delivery cycle.

Identify testing bottlenecks and make improvements to accelerate delivery with high confidence. Conduct both manual and automated tests, analyse bugs found during tests and document test results for feature delivery. You will be passionate about driving change and improvements in Development, writing code, test automation and the continuous delivery spaces, improving software quality, delivering software faster and more reliably.

Job Title: Backend Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for backend services, RESTful APIs, and gRPC endpoints using languages like Python, Java, or Go.

Minimum Qualifications

- focusing heavily on backend, API, and database testing.
- Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
- API testing and automation tools
- writing complex SQL queries and validating data persistence layers (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
