: Backend & DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend & DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in backend development and deployment. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and basic DevOps practices.

You will work closely with the development team to build scalable backend services, manage APIs, databases, deployments, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python..
- Build scalable and secure backend services and business logic..
- Work with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, relationships, and optimization..
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services..
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, logging, and error handling..
- Debug and resolve backend and production issues..
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code..

DevOps & Deployment
- Manage application deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Work with Linux servers and basic server administration.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Docker for containerization.
- Manage application processes and deployments using tools such as PM2/Nginx.
- Monitor application performance, server health, and logs.
- Assist with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Handle basic server security, backups, environment variables,



and deployment configurations.

Required Skills
- Node.js – Mandatory.

- JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals.
- REST API development.
- SQL and database concepts.
- Git & GitHub/GitLab.
- Linux basics.
- Docker fundamentals.

- Basic cloud knowledge, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of API security and authentication.

Good to Have
- Experience with NestJS / Express.js / FastAPI.
- Redis.
- AWS EC2, RDS, S3.
- GitHub Actions.
- PostgreSQL performance optimization.
- Microservices architecture.
- Monitoring tools such as PM2, CloudWatch, or similar.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
