About The Job:

- The Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will support Gallagher’s enterprise AVD platform, responsible for building, operating, and optimizing scalable, secure virtual desktop environments. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting both published applications and full desktop use cases with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience.

Essential Job Functions:

- Build, configure, and support Azure Virtual Desktop host pools.

- Manage Windows 10/11 enterprise images and application delivery.

- Configure and support FSLogix profile containers.

- Troubleshoot AVD performance, connectivity, and session issues.

- Implement scaling plans, availability, and cost optimization strategies.

- Document AVD standards and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–6 years of experience supporting virtual desktop or EUC platforms.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.

- Strong experience with Azure compute, networking, and storage.

- Experience with FSLogix profile management and troubleshooting.





- Robust operational and problem-solving skills.

- Exp: 8-12 years
