About The Client

Client is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting

Essential Job Functions:

- Design and implement data storage solutions leveraging Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation using Azure services.

- Create data models to support analytics and business intelligence requirements.

- Build and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory or equivalent technologies.

- Integrate Azure Data Factory with Databricks to assemble and manage large, complex data sets.

- Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data.

- Ensure compliance and security for all data-related processes in line with organizational and industry standards.

- Optimize Azure SQL databases for high performance and efficient query execution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business stakeholders, architects) to translate requirements into scalable and reliable data platform solutions.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

Required Skills

- Strong technical expertise with a blend of problem-solving and collaboration skills.

- Hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem (Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Blob Storage, Data Factory, Databricks).

- Proficiency in SQL and Python.

- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling techniques.

- Familiarity with Apache Spark and big data technologies.

- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.

- Exposure to Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Strong background in data warehousing concepts.

Experience

- Total Experience: 10+ years





- Relevant Experience: 5+ years in Azure data engineering and analytics platforms

- Azure stack (Data Lake, SQL Database, Data Factory, Blob Storage, Databricks)

- SQL

Desired Skills

- Advanced expertise in ETL processes and performance optimization
