We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Security Engineer to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, specifically with Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for the following:

Defender for Cloud: You will be working on enhancing and improving our Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure security tool stack, to provide unified security management and advanced threat protection across hybrid cloud workloads.

- KQL (Kusto Query Language): You will use KQL to analyze and interpret security data from various Azure services. Proficiency in creating and optimizing KQL queries is required.

3.

Threat and Vulnerability Management: You will identify, assess, and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities within our Azure environment. This includes conducting regular security audits, coordinating patch management, and implementing proactive measures to prevent security breaches.

4.

Automation: You will leverage automation tools to streamline security operations. This includes automating routine tasks, developing scripts for security automation, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

5.

Workbooks and Playbooks: You will create and maintain Azure workbooks to visualize data and monitor the security of our Azure resources. Additionally, you will develop and implement incident response playbooks to ensure swift and effective response to security incidents.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its security offerings, including Defender for Cloud.
- Proficiency in KQL and experience with Azure workbooks and playbooks.




- Strong understanding of threat and vulnerability management and security automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure the security of our Azure environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends and threats.
