About The Client

Essential Job Functions:

- A Cloud Infrastructure Platform Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and services.

- Maintain platform architecture and requirements.

- Deploy and implement the infrastructure.

- Manage and maintain platform resources, including patching and security upgrades.

- Keeping the platform always up and running without any interruptions

- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans

- Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization and cost

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the platform

- Planning solutions for security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments

- Clearing the unwanted data to free storage and disk space

- Ensuring right access to right person

- Managing SQL and DNS services

CI/CD Pipeline Implementation

- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps tools.

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure fast and reliable software delivery.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Use tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure environments are reproducible and version-controlled.

Source Code Management

- Manage repositories using Git in Azure Repos or GitHub.

- Enforce branching strategies, code reviews, and version control best practices.





Monitoring and Logging

- Set up and maintain monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

- Ensure systems are observable and issues are detected early.

Security and Compliance

- Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security checks into pipelines.

- Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault and enforce role-based access control (RBAC).

Collaboration and Agile Practices

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams.

- Use Azure Boards for tracking work items, sprints, and project progress.

Workplace Management

- Create and manage development, staging, and production environments.

- Ensure consistency across environments and manage configuration settings.

Automation and Scripting

- Write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate routine tasks.

- Optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.

Performance Optimization

- Analyze and improve pipeline performance and deployment speed.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for faster delivery.

Troubleshooting and Support

- Investigate and resolve issues in build, release, and infrastructure.

- Provide support during deployments and ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

- Azure, .Net,



SQL/SharePoint

- Experience: 6 to 8 yrs.
